Anecdotal on my part, but when I checked Google Maps around 9am, it was all Green at the Manhattan crossings, including the tunnels from Jersey. Let's go.
Just evacuated an F mid station.
Major shout out to @NYCTSubway personell for the calmness, professionalism, and instruction throughout. Shouts to @FDNY for getting us off the train too.
Crazy walking in the tunnel and out an emergency exit to steeet level!
@ay_bear @NYCTSubway@FDNY I barely caught one quick snuggle goodnight, thank goodness. Yeah it was NEW for me so that’s something. Permission granted based on our longstanding agreement.
You should be outraged about Intro 606 (a bill to require e-bike "licenses") -- EVEN IF YOU DO NOT RIDE AN E-BIKE.
It's an insane stop-and-frisk revival.
The bill would let the NYPD pull over ANYONE on ANY BIKE -- even if they haven't broken the law.
Let me explain...
The Queens Blvd redesign is complete, including the longest protected bike lane in NYC (14 miles total, 7 in each direction)
Since it began in 2015, this redesign has cut traffic deaths by 68%. We will continue with capital improvements on Queens Blvd in 2025.
Surprised there isn't a thought to cross-honor at LIRR Far Rockaway station for those transferring from "H" shuttle.
Should really include that @MTA, @NYCTSubway, and @LIRR,
.@amNewYork gets action! MTA officials say they plan to dig a tunnel under a cemetery in Queens for the IBX project instead of having the light rail run on the street in Middle Village. Story TK
Last week, we brought back our Crashland banner to Ashland/Lafayette, the site of the missing block of the Ashland/Navy protected bike lane. A year ago, it was reported the Mayor’s advisor Ingrid Lewis-Martin ordered DOT to stop work, and we rallied in support of the project.
Yes, per McDonald’s, “one train (all 11 cars) to Citi Field will be completely wrapped in celebration of Grimace. They’ll depart from Hudson Yards at 1 p.m. ET. Some lucky fans may even spot Grimace himself on route just before game time. https://t.co/TM7aJvoDpN
