Dr. Doug Phillips told me that he promised his dog, Turkey, he would do this show. Turkey appeared in early episodes of the series before passing away. My friends Mike Letcher and Preston Sullivan are responsible for the production so I am looking forward to seeing it.

"State Capitals" -- tonight at 7:30pm on DISCOVERING ALABAMA. Stephens was Alabama's territorial capital in 1817. Huntsville was home of the state convention in 1819, and Cahaba became the first capital in 1820. The seat moved to Tuscaloosa in 1826 and to Montgomery in 1846.
