Everything you would likely use to define yourself as an individual - your personality, preferences, etc - does not apply to those 8 cells. Those 8 cells have the future potential to exhibit those traits; but in that moment they do not.

That difference needs to be established before anything else can be discussed. Also killing these 8 cells is not murder.
