@borderlinedom I think it’s about the fact that he came out to camera so he can get it all done with at once and give the people he knows time to come to terms with it while he’s not there. It’s likely telling people face to face that he struggles with the most, hence why he’s being cagey #bbuk
@ollieollieGA I was at Calvin Harris last night and the atmosphere was worth the money alone! And he brought on Clementine Douglas, a fantastic singer and EDM vocalist, to sing live. It was great :) the accessibility was great too!
acc sick of politicians speaking on behalf of young people bc zoom interviews:
1) save us money on travel
2) mean neurodivergent people don't have to worry about eye contact and body language
3) make jobs more accessible to people who don't already live in london/major cities
@slxthkween My parents had me at 42 and 36, I’m 22 now, my grandmother died at 79 when I was 16, my other grandmother is still living at 85 and I knew her mother who died at 94 in 2018. One of my grandfathers is also 85 as well. I wish my granny was still here, I understand your frustration!
Scotland’s free “Top Up Taps” network has reached a major sustainability milestone: public refill stations have now prevented the use of around 20 million plastic bottles, reinforcing the country’s reputation as a leading eco-friendly travel destination.
With over 130 free refill points available across cities, parks, and hiking routes, travellers can easily stay hydrated using some of the world’s highest-quality tap water without relying on single-use plastic.
A big step forward for sustainable tourism.
Would you travel with a reusable bottle?
There was a young man I used to see on the bus who has Tourette, one of his symptoms is muscle spasms that makes the head, chest, arms, and legs jerk uncontrollably, so he'd always put himself into a corner to avoid hurting others. People shunned him b/c they don't know Tourette.
Freddie Mercury came to the UK as a kid because people that looked like him were being killed back home in Zanzibar.
In the UK, he formed Queen.
In the UK, he became a global icon.
But he didn’t become British by getting famous. He became British by building a life here.
Conversion therapy is torture. Literally torture. They physically abuse, electrocute and chemically poison gay kids to try and ‘fix’ them. And it doesn’t work. It’s pseudoscience. Those subjected to conversion therapy are 88% more likely to commit suicide and 0% more likely to become straight.
If you voted for this, just know you voted to torture innocent children and make them commit suicide. Let me repeat that: YOU VOTED FOR TORTURE AND SUICIDE. You are evil and psychotic if you support this.
