@BillSimmons@TheCousinSal As a Bears fan, my 12yo and I jumped off the couch on the Caleb to Kmet TD. Screaming, high-fives. 30 seconds later I realized this bet missed. He asked me why I was quiet. I lied saying I was nervous about the footing for the extra point
Bryson was the hype man for the entire second nine yesterday. I thought he would continue that energy today and potentially get Rory out of his/Harry’s calm bubble. It was trending that way until 3. Brutal bogey threw the momentum. Wonder if the mental/physical grind finally hit
Always great watching the Masters but I have three recommendations
1) One year, mow the grass towards the green. Allow the ball to run out
2) No low am trophy unless an Am makes the cut
3) 60+ event for past Champions from Member tees
3 is my favorite. Ratings would be 🔥
My 11-yo was screaming from the basement for Eberflus to call a timeout. He came up and said we need Ditka back. Poor kid has another couple generations of this
I had no idea where he was going (nor did he in all likelihood) but his storytelling drew me in. I think the allure of adventure and insubordination piqued my interest and I try to keep that in my heart every day
RIP Bill Walton
December 2002-I had two weeks off before my one and only final so I decided to drive from Chicago to Boston to spend the week with my gf (now wife of 15yrs). On the way back I found the local ESPN station and Dan Patrick had Bill Walton as his guest.
Dan got about 7 words in before Bill goes into a 7 minute monologue about basketball, leadership, the Grateful Dead and it was the most exhilarating 7 minutes of radio I have ever heard
