The problem isn't with Baker's play. The problem is that MVP is an optics award. And Baker fell flat in Prime Time on MNF against a team his main competition, Patrick Mahomes, smoked without his WR1 on SNF. In a vacuum Baker is good. In MVP, he needs Mahomes to struggle to win.
