Point-of -lay chickens:
These are layer chickens that have grown to the age or near to start laying eggs, 16-18 weeks( for commercial layers).
Pros:
1.Less waiting time to eggs production
2.Less mortality as chicks suffer more than hens
3.Less costs of feeds and medication.
I once heard this farming wisdom - "The diet of a cow is the key to the success of her udder"
I like to watch when cows eat, because what they eat today will have such milk tomorrow...

Cucumber in Pots
