The Philippines produces many exceptionally talented artists that are heavily underrated, unseen and unsupported. BINI’s success at Coachella is opening a gateway for other OPM artists to be recognized and seen globally. It’s appalling to see sly and jealous comments from other FILIPINOS downplaying BINI’s success or any other OPM artists for that matter. Hindi sila pumunta ng Coachella para manlimos ng Western Validation. Pumunta sila sa Coachella Valley para ipakilala ang musikang Filipino sa mundo. OPM is becoming more global a lot more foreigners falling in love with our music. Its why ang daming pinoy artist ngayon may mga world tours na ngayon. In a globalized community you cannot confine yourself locally kahit sa music.

Because music is meant to reach and connect people regardless of culture and borders. It’s why revolutionary para sa OPM and PPOP ang performance ng BINI sa Coachella. Hindi Colonial Mentality ang hangarin na ipakilala ang musikang Pinoy globally in fact it is our duty bilang pinoy na ipakilala ang kulturang pinoy sa mundo.

Regardless of what the haters say BINI keep doing what your doing. Keep on introducing your music to the world.
