If you pay close attention you realize every desirable trait women are attracted to in a man is basically: competence, protection & leadership. There are MANY ways those traits can be expressed but it is always these three traits.
One day gents you must understand that women are reciprocators, not initiators. They step AFTER y’all step. You lead, they FOLLOW. Idk how else to explain this but it’s really SO simple.
🤦🏽️
Boomer men will be like “you know what’d be a great idea? A late in life second marriage to a woman that will try to steal my estate from my children for the benefit of her own after I die. I can’t see how that would be bad at all. Fuck it, I’m gonna do it.”
The simple truth is that anyone with anything close to that level of empathy simply wouldn't be able to reach anything close to bezos levels of wealthy, because that amount of money requires unbelievable amounts of human exploitation
my classmate in med school studies for seven hours every evening and exercises daily. I used to ask him how did he manage it & he said, "I'm very disciplined". I met his wife yesterday, she told me how she cooked him three fresh meals daily, mowed their lawn, ran all errands, cleaned the house weekly, and handled all social plans. It made me wonder how many times "discipline" means a woman doing all of the other essential work that keeps a life going
That part really puts things in perspective. Productivity doesn’t happen in a vacuum — it’s often built on invisible labor. When someone else is consistently handling the domestic load, it frees up time, energy, and mental space to focus and excel.
It’s not about diminishing men’s achievements, but about recognizing that many women are expected to perform at the same level *while* carrying disproportionate responsibilities at home. Equal support would probably unlock a lot more “genius” we haven’t seen yet.
Makes you wonder how many women’s potential has been slowed, not by lack of talent, but by lack of support.
Just watched a video where a woman writer shared how her mum came over to help. Her mum did all the housework, laundry, cooking, cleaning, and childcare so she could focus. During her mum’s stay, writer TRIPLED her daily word count.
Then she said something that hit hard.
Most men have this kind of support their entire lives. Next time you call a man productive, consider that.
Damn. Still letting it sink in.
Full grown adults that can’t swim, cycle, skate, backpack, take a gap year, vacation, play instruments or speak multiple foreign languages.
Just a lifetime of hustling and trying to leave survival mode. These are subtle poverty metrics that no one is ready to talk about.
Being able to buy food based on cravings, not just survival.
Having enough money to walk away from something toxic.
Having a support system that actually shows up.
Doing work you genuinely love with a good pay.
Having clear sight without needing glasses or contacts.
Having a peaceful place to go back to when life falls apart.
When we get older, and our memory is not what it used to be, and we need photographs to help us look back at major times and milestones, I cannot imagine the mental dissonance and uncanny experience it will cause to look at a picture of yourself at age 50+, and it's not you but an AI version.
Real-life Black Mirror episode
@GermSeed He may not have succeeded but he is the matchstick that has ignited a thousand fires, from him will come leaders upon leaders, sometimes that's our roll in life, like Moses to Canaan, without whom there's no salvation
I didn’t initially understand the relation of this lady with Raila Odinga so thought I’d do a bit of googling.
It’s quite a sad tale.
The lady Elizabeth Macheka (48) was 2nd wife to Former Zimbabwe PM after the first wife died.
She married him in 2012 & together they had kids
