[Review after meeting Win up close for the first time: he truly is a star and my idol. ✨🐰]
Yesterday was the first time I got to see Win up close. I attended his first fan meeting back in 2023 and also his Prada event this June, but both times I could only see him from afar.
At Just You And Win in Jakarta, I finally got to see him properly with my own eyes... and he really is as precious as I always imagined. He is so much taller, fairer, and even more handsome in real life than he looks on camera. 🥹🫶🏻💚 Seeing him with my own eyes was truly a whole different experience. 🫠
Starting from the photo benefits session, I watched him over and over as he got closer to every fan. Even though the promoter announced that we weren't allowed to touch him, Win naturally leaned his head against fans, held their shoulders, and gently patted their heads. You could really tell how much he wanted every fan to have a warm and memorable moment with him.
He was also having so much fun throughout the entire show. He looked genuinely happy from beginning to end. There were no tears during this fan meeting... only us crying after he left the stage because we realized we never know when he'll come back to Indonesia again. 🥺
One moment that touched me the most was when Win shared that he chose to sing "Dtit Gub" again after five years, especially so he could sing it together with Indonesian fans. 🥺🫶🏻
He was incredibly cheerful and playful while acting out scenes with the three lucky fans on stage. It was so adorable to watch. 🥹✨
I also noticed the little things that show how thoughtful he is. He adjusted his chair with a pillow, then realized it would be better if he stood so everyone could see him clearly. He ended up standing for almost the entire show just for us. 🥺🫶🏻
And of course, just like always, he came down from the stage to get even closer to the fans. ✨💚
I'm so grateful that Win chose Indonesia for this fan meeting. The fact that it happened on my birthday made it even more special. I got to celebrate with so many wonderful friends, create unforgettable memories together, and receive so many birthday wishes. I may not be able to express everything I feel, but I'm truly, deeply happy and grateful. Thank you to everyone at the venue and here 🥹💚🙏🏻
I really hope I'll get to see P'Win again in the future, and I hope he can visit Indonesia many more times. 🫶🏻
This fan meeting only made me want to support him for an even longer time. I truly wish more people could know and love him, because he deserves every bit of love he receives. He's so kind, genuine, thoughtful, and full of warmth. I already loved him before, but after last night, that love has grown even more. 🥺💚🫶🏻
See you again someday, P'Win @winmetawin. I love you to the moon and back. 💚🫶🏻🐰✨🙏🏻
[Trans/summarized] Part 2️⃣
#TheSecretSauce
🧑🏻🦱: I secretly felt back then when I saw Win selling macarons, I was like, "Wow, do Thai people really eat this many macarons?" Like how to make macarons part of daily life and when compared to competitors, how will it be sustainable?
🐰: I defined it as "Fatcaron." Therefore, what I got in return was customers who don't eat macarons at all but they eat #Souri. So, I think this clearly shows that in the market where Souri is positioned, it's not just about capturing customers who only eat macarons but it's customers who like a lifestyle dessert, there's no need for a ritual, no need for an appointment, no need for a fixed intention like "on the 3rd, I'll go eat at this place." I view it as more of an everyday, easily accessible thing like that.
🟠: When coming to the office, does it feel different from when you go to a filming set?
🐰: It feels very stressful because every day we have meetings, discussions, and quite a lot of decisions to make. There's a pile of documents waiting for me to sign and approve first.
🟠: So every day you come, there's a pile waiting for you like this?
🐰: Yes.
🟠: Normally, when you're in the room, do you also work on ideas?
🐰: Thinking of work, checking work—most of it happens in this room. These photos of the products are here so I can remember the flavors too. 😅
🧑🏻🦱: One thing that stands out, which I think everyone wants to learn from this brand, is marketing. How do you do marketing? How do you boost sales? How has it changed today?
🐰: I have to admit that my advantage is that I work in the entertainment industry, so when communicating, it might reach people louder.
I view that as an advantage we use sometimes, but not as the main driver. The brand itself must have its own identity, keep up with trends, keep up with what customers want at that moment, and present fresh, creative stories. We place great importance on storytelling that comes out with a "wow" factor.
🧑🏻🦱: Another thing I see a lot is collaborations. How important is it, how often do you do it, and with whom?
🐰: It actually happens almost every month. 🤯
🧑🏻🦱: Every month?
🐰: We collaborate every month! Customers actually contact us a lot. But we have to screen them to fit our slot of about once a month. Customers email us all the time wanting to collab. So we select brands that, when combined, create new combinations—partnerships people wouldn't expect, like "How would that turn out?"
🧑🏻🦱: I'm interested in whether collaboration is mainly for sales volume, or what is its main purpose in your opinion?
🐰: It's not just about sales volume. I think it's more about building awareness. I feel that once we create a "wow effect" and give people something to talk about, it reflects back as brand awareness for us. And ultimately, sales will naturally follow. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
