@lady_flowerbomb Sun in the eyes (taking a walk w/o sunglasses, reading outside) as early in the day as possible, sweat it out in the sauna for as long as I can, and hydrate. When I can’t take my own advice, I pay for it 😅 dearly
Still thinking about a recent conversation about how the future does not exist (as we can interpret) [freeing]. Yet the past will always exist. It exists as light traveling on through space-time
Cherished moments are everlasting. This is comforting. Freeing, in its own way too
Anyone have experience importing lighting to the US from Europe? All sources say the conversion to 120v /should/ be fine, esp for vintage lighting & using US bulbs but I’d hate to die this way, thanks
@Boatyboy1 Thank you. This is especially helpful. I’m committed to incandescent bulbs. I want to experience the full spectrum of visible light and I will not settle for less.
@Max0471 ETA I used the vintage example to exclude lights with digital components, the actual light I am importing is newly made but w/o digital components
@MargotLaurentDC Thank you. It’s a pendant light from Italy and the cloth-covered wire is part of the look, but I will look into this. I bet your lamp is gorgeous!
Dating me is the biggest whiplash because you’ll be gazing into the alluring green eyes of a late-20s woman but all of the sudden your ears be inundated with words of pure joy about a topic like… quarter-sawn oak or Steely Dan
