Iran’s Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, Mohsen Rezaei, told Drop Site News that #Iran retains the ability to launch missiles and drones against US assets across the region if attacked, warning that its range of targets could expand.
"The United States has valuable assets in the region. In the event of war, cables, data centers and artificial intelligence facilities could also come within range," Rezaee said in an exclusive written interview.
"If the conflict begins again, we will have a broader plan," he said, adding, "Everyone must understand that action against Iran carries a cost."
However, he stressed that Iran prefers a diplomatic solution but has the means to continue retaliating if war resumes.
Separately, Rezaee said Iran submitted seven new conditions through mediators, declaring, "Unless they are met, Iran will not reopen the Strait of Hormuz or return to negotiations."

Israeli Channel 12 reported that security and political figures from the Change Bloc have urged Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir to make every effort possible to prevent any attack on Iran before the legislative elections "unless there is a genuine and urgent need."
According to the channel’s political affairs correspondent, Yaron Avraham, the messages were directed specifically at Zamir amid deep mistrust of the heads of Mossad and Shin Bet.
The figures reportedly warned that an attack on Iran could "turn the tables and change the equation" and significantly affect the election results, adding that any attack that can be postponed should be put on hold.

AIPAC is dropping candidate endorsements, direct PAC contributions, and earmarked donations amid growing political resistance to the pro-"Israel" lobbying group, CNBC reported.
The shift comes as AIPAC’s backing has become a point of contention in Democratic primaries, particularly among candidates and voters opposing the Israeli war on Gaza.
But the group is not abandoning election spending. Its United Democracy Project (UDP) super PAC will continue to fund independent political campaigns, while AIPAC plans to mobilize individual supporters to donate directly to candidates.
AIPAC and its affiliated super PAC have spent tens of millions of dollars this election cycle, including millions backing preferred candidates and opposing their rivals.
The new approach could also make the group’s influence harder to trace in campaign finance records: donations made directly by individual supporters would no longer carry the same AIPAC-earmarked label, even as the group retains its capacity for large-scale political spending.
