Catherine was part of the 2018 Fashion Lab cohort, and one of the youngest at the time, at 26. Raised by a single parent struggling to support their family on a housemaids wage, Catherine had stayed at home since school due to a lack of options...
@mayamikotrust has now been going since 2008! We started out to train women in tailoring as a means to more opportunities, and often financial independence! Since then we've adapted to needs, supporting sustainable lighting, creating reusable sanitary pads for vulnerable groups..
