WATCH: A heated exchange took place between Kamanggagawa Rep. Eli San Fernando and Labor Secretary Francis Tolentino over the ₱85 minimum wage hike in Metro Manila during a House budget hearing.

The wage increase has been put on hold pending a Supreme Court ruling on the challenge to the wage order. San Fernando pressed Tolentino on the department’s mandate to implement the pay hike.
