Ya pase una semana completa sin luz. Se me daño todo en la refrigeradora y acababa de hacer mi compra del mes. Llamamos y escribimos sin solución. Tenemos mas de 5 números de reporte. Muy mal servicio. Dicen que todo esta bien, pero yo estoy en la oscuridad y pagando luz!!

I think the gov should promote their national forests a LOT more. It’s all about the beaches and the new museum when it comes to tourism here but has anyone ever hiked or explored this national park that runs through the route of the flowers?

The world vs El Salvador..

While people post about gas prices going up WE are installing solar panels.

While people post about global fertilizer shortages WE are creating our own fertilizer on our regenerative farms.

While people fear of food shortages we are planting more fruit trees, buying more cows, chickens, bees hives, planting more crops etc..

While others fear, WE trust in God. We serve our neighbors. We prepare for tomorrow by planting the seed today

I can see another 5 million people moving to El Salvador over the next 10 years. Mostly Salvadorans returning to their home country. North Americans consume a LOT of water. We leave our ACs on during the day.
More clean energy projects and monitoring deforestation will be key.
More trees.. more water
I love the mountains. There’s nothing wrong with building a home in the mountains. But you must plant more than you cut down. Build your homes surrounded by nature. It’s not a concrete jungle.
Or.. the water wells will dry up. The farms will have no more water for their crops.
People must understand the importance of trees and healthy soil.

You know, when Bukele fixed Nuevo Cuscatlán as mayor, people like you claimed it was easy because it was “just a small town.”

When he fixed San Salvador as mayor, they said it was easy because it was “just one city.”

And when he fixed El Salvador as president, they said it was easy because it’s “just a small country.”

The argument falls apart once you realize that more responsibility always comes with more resources. I promise you that if you put the German chancellor (who can’t even run a rich nation) in charge of El Salvador, he would screw it up in a year. But if you put Bukele in charge of Germany, he would fix it.

And then people like you would say, “it’s easy because it’s a rich country.”

El Salvador siempre fue un país subdesarrollado, pero el peor lugar, el más peligroso, abandonado y golpeado, era el Centro Histórico de San Salvador.

Fue una zona destruida por terremotos, una guerra civil, décadas de desorden y más de 30 años de pandillas. Se le llamó "Centro Histórico" porque el verdadero centro de la ciudad se desplazó, y ese lugar quedó abandonado a su suerte.

Recuperarlo es mucho más caro y difícil que simplemente desarrollar un área nueva, pero lograrlo es una muestra clara e innegable del renacimiento de El Salvador.

En la época que me tocó crecer en El Salvador, esto era impensable en el centro de San Salvador.

Hasta las madres decían: "mijo, evita ir al centro que está peligroso", ir de noche era impensable.

🇸🇻 PUPUSAS SALVADOREÑAS POSICIONÁNDOSE COMO UNO DE LOS MEJORES 50 PLATILLOS DEL MUNDO

Una reciente publicación de CNN destaca que las pupusas salvadoreña, es uno de los mejores 50 platillos del mundo. También destaca un sitio arqueológico del país, que ha sido declarado patrimonio de la UNESCO:

“Camine por las calles de San Salvador y nunca estarás lejos del aroma a maíz tostado de cocinar pupusas.

El pan de maíz a la plancha es tanto un bocadillo querido como un icono nacional. Para hacer pupusas, un cocinero envuelve un relleno de queso, cerdo o frijoles especiados en una masa de maíz tierna, luego acaricia la mezcla en una plancha ardiente. Una cobertura brillante de curtido tipo ensalada corta la grasa y la sal para una comida satisfactoria.

Es un sabor que ha perdurado a través de los siglos. En el sitio de Joya de Cerén, declarado Patrimonio de la UNESCO, una ciudad maya enterrada por un volcán en erupción, los arqueólogos han encontrado herramientas de cocina como las que se utilizan para hacer pupusas que datan de alrededor del 600 d.C”, destaca la publicación.
