PSA for autistic people, people with PTSD, and anyone else who is sensitive to sound (including owners of nervous pets): it sounds like church bells are gonna be rung for a full hour at noon tomorrow, so if you can get somewhere quiet, or can prep in some way for it, please do!
@adamfare1996 I feel very similarly. The difference between my feed here and my FB feed is jarring. I’m trying to hold the two sides at the same time. I was expecting to feel a bit sad but I actually feel not much at all.
@NortherlyRose You did amazingly! Not pushing ourselves to do things is such progress I always feel. Hope the appointment goes more smoothly next time.
I/we/the school F’d up and we didn’t complete the extra form for school dinners (small one has a lot of food allergies) so it’s this or jackets and cheese for 6 weeks and I’d like my kid not to hate jackets please.
The importance of having ND friends cannot be overstated. Someone in one of my parent groups just brainstormed packed lunches for me having never had to pack one for my kid for him to eat alone. Like a x + Y formula and extra ideas and everything. BRB, off to have a grateful cry
