Bit of context: I wasn’t a constant drinker, rather, I didn’t know how to stop once I started. I would ruin my life in one night, rebuild and start over, rinse and repeat. I had to break that cycle. I watched booze kill my family members and I didn’t want to be next.

Back in 2020 I decided I’d try and go through January without getting drunk. I wasn’t a crazy alcoholic by any means, but alcohol was so detrimental to my mental health — I needed a break.
I just hit 4 years.
I couldn’t be prouder.
