Licorice Pizza
Not so sure on the age gap in this romance but love that it is the two main characters debut in film, they did so well. Alana made me safe in the way her character portrayed being clueless at 25 and still feeling like a kid. Love the colour pallet the most. 6/10

[mila @maybeitsmila]

considering I just graduated with a degree in film I’m gonna make this a thread of movies I’ve watched this year and rate them

Bones And All
Luca is my all time favourite director and it was lovely to see him cast Timothée again. Beautiful shot list and acting direction not sure about the plot but loved the way he made us empathetic over literal cannibals. Didn’t know horrors could be so beautiful. 8/10

Avatar: The Way of Water
regardless of the criticism on cultural appropriation and the way that Cameron could have gone around it the visual effects were next level and so realistic. However I watched this on IMAX and in 3D and literally felt so nauseous with the fast cuts. 9/10
