‘BEING DIFFERENT IS OKAY’
Vice President Sara Duterte penned an open letter to expelled congressman Kiko Barzaga.
“Being different is okay. It takes grit to be yourself in a world that rewards conformity. Not everyone will understand your choices or the path you take, and that’s okay. What matters is staying true to who you are and what you believe in,” she wrote.
Lawmakers overwhelmingly voted on Tuesday night to expel Barzaga from the roll of members of the House of Representatives for disorderly behavior, unparliamentary conduct and other violations.
“Ako man ay itinuturing na kakaiba. Ilang beses na akong tinawag na baliw, bobo, at kung anu-ano pa dahil lamang sa pagtangging sumunod sa nakasanayan,” Duterte added.
DUTERTE REJECTS ‘SILENCING’ OF OPPOSITION
WATCH: Vice President Sara Duterte warns against the “elimination” and silencing of opposition, saying democracy is at risk when dissent is treated as a threat.
In a statement, Duterte says government institutions should not be used against critics, noting that “good governance does not require the elimination of opposition.”
She also raised concerns over alleged politicized impeachment efforts, the flood control controversy, and charter change, calling them signs of a government focused on power over public service. | @TristanNodalo

I'm having the most peaceful crash out of my life right now... like I'm going insane, but also just chilling and vibing. I'm stressed about a bunch of stuff, but at the same time I'm not. Idk how to explain it.
Absolute disrespect for the Filipino people. What entitlement.
Mag-boycott tayo.
Huwag mag trabaho.
Hayaan natin ang mga nakabinbing panukala.
Mga senador, binabayaran kayo ng taumbayan. Pambabastos ito sa Pilipino.
