@1MissBankss If epidemics are so real and ur so educated then show us. Do a photoshoot showing u doing a statistical analysis, find a p value, reject the null hypothesis etc. Show us u doing a case study. Thats how u show ur smart. These photos don’t make u look smart or informed.
@1MissBankss I think you have to ask yourself if using someone’s condition as a prop/for shock value is ethical? It should feel inherently and instinctively wrong. I hope that you grow to develop that instinct, maturity and discernment and you will if you remain receptive to feedback
@complexderick@jbthadoll THIS!!! I hate how much trinity commandeered Aniyah and KC moment. She see Aniyah hurt and goes “and why you say that about me and Bryce?!” Girl stop centering yourself.
Heavily influenced by Caribbean? Yall be out yall mind to say shit like this to us. The disrespect is palpable. Every culture is distinct and should be respected as such.
I think remaining true to the Black American culture in whatever city the event is in makes sense. And from what I can tell, Black American NYC culture is heavily influenced by the Caribbean.
@equisitelybi They are speaking aave very properly. You grew up speaking standard English not proper English. They’re not speaking standard English, they’re speaking a dialect of the English language, aave. Nothing improper about it
@BAGbabesss It’s getting weird. As a former teacher myself it’s not cool to post personal letters that students write to u but also to mock their writing in the process is mean and embarrassing. Especially bc I think they were focusing on being real and reflective not grammatically correct
I hate the way people talk about Naomi Osaka when she’s made it very clear she chose to be a mother and her baby is a source of joy for her. Completely erasing her agency to make a weird “gotcha” point
@TayXLamar I don’t think this is true. I’m AA and I loovveeee that African models are seen as a pinnacle of beauty in the modeling industry. But we can also say there needs to be more diversity in modeling to represent black people of all features and body types. Both can be true
@burnfrenchtoast Wellll, I’ll say that as an African American I can tell if someone’s AA just by looks, same goes for Dominican black people, Haitian etc. it’s not 100% of the time. But it’s an indicator that there’s sometimes a real distinction in phenotype. 🤷🏿♀️
