@KR3Wmatic That’s not how proofs work. The burden of the proof is on the believer. As the philosopher say, “ I can’t prove that a purple teapot isn’t orbiting the Earth. That doesn’t mean it exists.”
@DavidFischer@grok Lots of people including original author @davidfischer asking @grok about “statistical probability” with complete lack of understanding how probabilities work.
@KirkWillia13546@DavidFischer@grok This is a corollary of the anthropic principle. grok’s response is incomplete and ignores other potential concepts like multiverses and alternative temporal dimensions. Yes, we are here observing the miracle of life, which we wouldn’t be if it didn’t happen. Therefore no miracle
@PiersUncensored@piersmorgan@StephenCMeyer For an “acclaimed Scientific philosopher” to espouse such basic high school logic and frankly embarrassing amounts of motivated reasoning is shameful. Yet Piers like a desperate sycophant lapped it up as will the US public. Mr Meyer, non-believers in US have doubled in 20 years.
Over the last 6 months, 99% of accepted refugees in the USA were South Africans (mostly Afrikaners). It’s almost as if Americans finally realised that Biltong is far superior to Jerky, but needed someone to make it.
