Did @mayersteach and @MarcusLuther6 spend the final ten minutes of the most recent episode not just discussing The Bear but reflecting on why it speaks to the profession of teaching?
Yes, they did. 😂 #summervibes
Seems like the day @CollegeBoard releases AP scores, they also removed all teacher access via the course audit forms so we can't view either the scores or instructional reports from our accounts. I had access to all this a few days ago. Anyone else have this?
Hey @CityOfBoston & @MayorWu what’s the point of making everyone download a separate parking app just for inside Boston just to give people parking tickets 1h & 40m before the meter expires?
I actually still like Facebook because some of my friends are like “check out this cool PhD thesis I did” and other friends are like “I got a new batch of pigs for sale, message me if you want any” and every time I’m like “hell yea keep it up”
my dog takes medicine in the mornings, which I administer in small pieces of hot dogs.
every day I ask her if she is “ready for her morning glizzy,” and every day I grow more and more jealous.
I think in a lot of cases where teachers are going outside the school norms, it’s a symptom of a lack of support, leadership, or buy-in to. Asking teachers why they aren’t upholding these rules can often lead to more complex answers than we think. Not always, though.
I agree with this, but struggle with the reality that this is not at *all* the case with college professors or employers.
In most post-secondary settings, there is rampant favoritism & discrimination, and it feels a little rich to be pointing at K12 teachers for this.
Teachers should all have the same behavior rules, enforced the same at a grade level. To be effective, they need to work as a team. No school or grade level should have the "hero teacher," the "cool teacher," the "rebel teacher," or the "burnout teacher."
I feel like Taylor could just announce that she’s only releasing her music on cassette tapes from now on and we’d all be like “ok yea I was pretty much done with the internet anyways”
