Deputy head of Russia's foreign ministry had a meeting with Ambassadors of the United Kingdom, France and Germany in Russia.

The Russian ministry's statement after the meeting was hostile and negative:

"The heads of diplomatic missions were presented with objective assessments of the destructive policy of their countries' leadership in relation to the Ukrainian crisis, which is aimed at maximizing incentives for the Kyiv regime to continue the war against Russia on behalf of, at the expense and with the direct assistance of the Western 'coalition of the willing'.

The principled approaches of the Russian side to finding a political and diplomatic settlement of the conflict based on eliminating its root causes were explained."

Translation: Russia wants war and Ukrainian capitulation. Russia is unhappy that European support for Ukraine is strong.
