these "synthetic" hormones that sound so scary are, in reality, biologically identical to the hormones our bodies create. hormones aren't magically safer or more dangerous just because they're endogenous.

fun biology fact! during pregnancy, a person's estrogen levels skyrocket over 17x higher than normal. it's literally the exact same "pumping full of hormones" that trans women undergo to induce lactation. the same exact hormones, too!
