I find it painful to hear people say,suicide is a selfish act.For me it was an act of desperation,and a lack of support for something we have been encouraged to speak out about. Despair had twisted and distorted my thoughts .I believed that everyone was better off without me.

Suicide is a deeply personal act and unless you’ve actually tried it, were unsuccessful and were able to tell your story, I’d say that suicide will always be a mystery as to its motivators. Survivors of suicide attempts are an invaluable resource for research.
