Junta soldiers burned 11 civilians alive on Tuesday during a raid on a village in Salingyi,Sagaing.Some of the bodies of the victims showed signs of torture. One of the victims was just 14 and another in his 60s.

Mandalay University's Student Union has urged all students to partake in the uprising to overthrow the junta.
"Mandalay's Student Union has always been at the forefront of the fight against fascism, and will be at the forefront of the armed uprising", the statement said.
In Kale, Sagaing, two protesters returning from an anti-junta rally today (Sep 7) were hit by a car and arrested, locals said. Currently, there are no clashes in Kale but there are many shoppers, they said.
