Nepal's media is reporting that explosive devices were washed down from Tibet side into Nepal after the floods. What were these devices used for in Tibet side?

Breaking mountains for some construction? Did the Glacier break after one such detonation for tunneling or construction?

Such questions need to be asked. But we can see immediate flood of counter the following way in comments, quotes and community notes:

吉隆沟泥石流的大致过程。
冰川从海拔五千多米滚落到一千多米的沟底，一路撞击不断粉碎裹挟土石最终形成泥石流，沿着中尼界河向西顺流冲下，用了7分钟就冲到了口岸检查站，汇入吉隆河。然后分头向北冲入中国境内2公里，向南顺流冲入尼泊尔42公里。口岸检查站的人来不及报警，瞬间都被泥石流吞没了。
人类在这种自然灾害面前真的是无能为力。
