A man who stops you from earning and still refuses to provide fully is not protecting you, he’s keeping you small so you depend on him for everything.

This is not what a healthy marriage looks like. You’re not lazy. You’re not weak. You’ve just been caged.

Maybe you’re more educated than him. Maybe you used to do more than him. Now he feels insecure, and instead of growing with you, he’s trying to shrink you. But you must see it for what it is.
