From reading the article it sure seems incorrect. Maybe the headline should have read ‘ lawmakers told to throw away Auburns future so Portlanders can walk a few miles’

I wish there were enough legislatures out there who wanted to stop the snowball. Or at least warn the village to evacuate.

@SteveCollinsSJ Just in the last year I’ve seen over a dozen family farms torpedoed by staff because the farmer wanted to do what farmers do…build a home on their farm. So farms are good. Farm homes bad so hence no farms. That’s the administrative state in action at the local level.

@SteveCollinsSJ Let me give you an example in Auburn. We have a huge Agricultural and resource protection zone that is designed to preserve farm land and limit development. Now the rules in place by staff are preventing farms from being built.

And which wars in history are legal? Almost all are fought over resources (land, people) or religion.
