Moving Detroit Forward

[Mayor Bing (IPE) @mayorbingIPE]

I call upon the people of Detroit-support the RTA, vote YES on RTA funding. We are in this together: citizens, business&community.#ipe2013

[Mayor Bing (IPE) @mayorbingIPE]

New amendment 5 language opens door for DDOT/RTCC to have their own MOU, finally some respect from Lansing! #ipe2013

[Mayor Bing (IPE) @mayorbingIPE]

Respect work of the AATA, too bad DDOT and RTCC were not offered a MOU before state assumed funds distribution from RTCC. #ipe2013

[Mayor Bing (IPE) @mayorbingIPE]

Mode neutrality - allows Detroit to use infrastructure we have had for almost 100 years. City of Detroit supports! #ipe2013

[Mayor Bing (IPE) @mayorbingIPE]

Mayor and City of Detroit look forward to working w/business community on RTA - thank you DMC, Quicken, Henry Ford and MGM Grand. #ipe2013

[Mayor Bing (IPE) @mayorbingIPE]

I was informed our request to testify was not received yet who 'forgets' the voice of 35 mil annual passengers? #ipe2013

[Mayor Bing (IPE) @mayorbingIPE]

For success in the 21st consider being at the edge, a leader; the place of "uncertainty" is also a place of learning. #ipe2013

[Mayor Bing (IPE) @mayorbingIPE]

Expertise? Dipping into cash reserves, fare hikes & no service holidays? Perhaps not nec in Ann Arbor, but Detroit deserves better#ipe2013

[Mayor Bing (IPE) @mayorbingIPE]

@MichiganAFLCIOI Sad that 5 minutes before a press conference is considered attempt to "work together"...

[Mayor Bing (IPE) @mayorbingIPE]

#ipe2013 Disappointed that neither Detroit nor Wayne County, more than half of region ridership, was asked to offer testimony today.

[Mayor Bing (IPE) @mayorbingIPE]

Excited about introducing 2013 IPE team to the possibilities and promise of Detroit today. Welcome from the Mayor and my staff! #ipe2013

[Mayor Bing (IPE) @mayorbingIPE]

#ipe2013 Look forward to working with the Detroit City Council as we put forth our choice for RTA Board - Director Planning & Development

[Mayor Bing (IPE) @mayorbingIPE]

Disappointed that we have been limited in our freedom of choice to the RTA Board. #ipe2013

[Mayor Bing (IPE) @mayorbingIPE]

@Hieftje_IPE Hope this is work with in partnership and not work alongside.

[Mayor Bing (IPE) @mayorbingIPE]

Looking forward to partnering to develop a robust regional transit environment for Detroit and our future leaving our past behind #ipe2013
