This week is the Annual Conference held by the Alaska Municipal League. Mayors, elected officials, municipal clerks, & managers gather from around Alaska to discuss the most pressing issues facing local municipalities. It's also a great opportunity to network and share ideas! π‘

It was a SPOOK-tacular time at Pioneer Park's Halloween Trick or Treat Town! I took my boys and we enjoyed walking through the park, getting candy, seeing everyone's great costumes, and enjoying all the festivities! This a great annual event for our community. #ServeLeadThrive

Last week I met with a group of Fairbanks homeschool students participating in the First LEGO League program. Their team is tasked with solving a real-life scenario--a problem with a local building or public space. They'll then design a solution, share it with others & refine it.
