Rhode Island doesn’t succeed unless our small businesses succeed!
I spent the morning in Woonsocket with @mayorLBH visiting local businesses and hearing how we can continue to support them through the economic recovery. Let’s work together to pass our #RIRebounds plan.
REBUILDING WOONSOCKET—ONE STREET AT A TIME!
Thank you to our team at the Woonsocket Highway Department, led by Director Steve D’Agostino, who are working hard to rebuild another City street; Hebert Avenue. 🚜👷🏽♂️🚧
Thank you to @GovDanMcKee and his team for visiting the City of Woonsocket today. We are continuing our efforts in conjunction with the Governor and his team in making certain all our residents have access to a vaccination. ☀️
Congratulations to our newest small business- Antojitos Taqueria! Slow cooked and delicious. Best of Luck to owners Carlos Pineda and his wife, Heydi Romero and their children Hailey & Janhcarlo. The restaurant is located at the corner of Mendon Road and Cumberland Hill Road. 😋
The Bocce League is entering its 27th season after being founded in 1993 by former Woonsocket Mayor Charles C. Baldelli who directed the building of eight City bocce courts at Bouley field. Thank you to league President David Mencarini and Vice-President Armand Renaud.
A large crowd gathered at Amvets Post 7 for a dedication unveiling a second monument honoring their recently deceased Commander, Robert Gauvin. The original flag pole was displayed around 1950 along with a monument and plaque in honor of their late Commander Henry Plante. 🇺🇸
