people call it a "temporary problem" because they're looking at it from the outside. you have no idea how long someone has been fighting a battle just to stay alive.
One minute, you’re just a bank staff earning ₦140k/month, commuting between Iyana Ipaja and VI daily. Next minute , you have a PR in Europe, drive a nice car, a nice apartment, and the freedom to travel and afford almost anything you want, all within 2 years. Still crazy to me.
People aren't just TIRED. They're grieving the lives they thought they'd be living by now while trying to survive a reality that keeps moving the finish line.
In hindsight, getting the MTN FibreX may not have been the best decision.
Having my internet depend exclusively on when NEPA gives me light is just stupid.
Very stupid, in fact.
i wish i was joking when i say every single month this year has been absolutely horrible for me. not a 10/10 month in sight. the best i got was a 4/10 - and honestly, that 4 was probably sponsored by alcohol & vibes.
seeing your age group having the best time of their lives while you're at your lowest trying to figure things out is another type of pain no one talks about
Sometimes I just think God hates me. I’ll just be on my own, getting by with the little I have, praying earnestly and trusting, and one bad thing just seeps into my life from nowhere. One trouble after the other. God truly really hates me. I’m exhausted. This life is not worth it again.
