Due to life and forgetting to pay I will not be attending MCM London Artist Alley. Will still be going to Dokomi and Hyper Japan this year! (those I’ve already paid)
@WTBVVD@torontobigface It’s the decision making people that has no taste tha chose the final designs, the problem is as a society China don’t appreciate the art and design as much
@takanashikiara But I would rather have real talent than be overhyped on the internet, algorithm and clout can only get you so far, if you’re not the real deal people can see through that
Sharing this in case someone feels stuck and not enjoying something as much anymore and having a hard time admitting that. I bet I’m not the first fan artist to feel this way and it’s ok to admit these feelings and move on 🫶
So I’m kinda on hiatus but still going to Dokomi, MCM London and HJ, but I’ve been drawing way less the past year if anyone noticed and the reason is I’m pivoting to design and just don’t enjoy drawing in anime style/fanart as much anymore compared to when I was younger
This account will still be up, I still have a Dr Ratio zine piece to work on and 3 cons, I’ll still post occasionally and I will always be doing something creative. Who knows maybe sometimes you gotta leave for a bit to see the greater picture. Keep drawing and see you soon 🫶

Some of the most employed digital artists have 200 followers on Twitter.
I highly recommend focusing on the way your career will manifest beyond twitter followers, because what will you have if social media became obsolete right now.
@TF_Moments In HK some are famous for having weird meme names like “Never” and “Formula” also fruity names like “Apple” and “Orange”. There is - person called Never Wong (never wrong)
