Learned from Mark Manson.
"I am responsible for everything that happens to me in my life, whether or not it's my fault."
Tried to pin his tweet but X won't let me 🥲, so putting it here to always remind myself about it. ✨
TF IS THIS GUY SCAMMING PEOPLE!! TANGINA BINABAGYO NA MGA TAO MANLOLOKO KA PA! TO GET MONEY FROM OTHERS. THIS VID WAS FROM SOMEONE DAW AND WAS TAKEN JULY 2025
Lately, I've noticed everybody looks OK until you eventually have a deep conversation with them. And then, you'll realize that, this is a sad generation of people struggling to survive through smiling faces and pretty pictures.
I think a lot of people misinterpret this.
"You have nothing to lose" doesn't mean detach from everything.
It means: since you can't actually lose anything permanently, the only real loss is not using it while you have it.
Not using your time = actual loss
Not using your money = actual loss
Not deepening relationships = actual loss
Not taking the shot = actual loss
The Stoics weren't passive. They were violently active BECAUSE nothing was permanent.
Your fear of loss makes you hoard. Hoarding is the only guaranteed way to waste what you have.
The billionaire who won't risk capital - cooked.
The talented person who won't risk rejection - cooked.
The healthy person who won't risk discomfort - cooked.
The real loss isn't what gets taken. It's what you never went for it or really enjoyed it because you were busy protecting it.
