Don’t give your children ₹1000 as pocket money. It teaches them a regular mindset.

Instead, reward them with ₹1000 for every book they read. This builds a millionaire’s mindset.

RBI may hike repo rate by 25 bps.

MPC meets 5-7 October.
Decision on 7 October.
Repo is 5.25%.
A 25 bps hike would take it to 5.50%.
First rise since February 2023.

This is a poll, not a vote.
Reuters: 35 of 61 economists expect 25 bps.
Business Standard: 8 of 10.
A few still expect a hold.
August inflation was 4.82%, above the 4% target for a third month.
Food and oil are the push.
Another hike in December is possible, not promised.

Sector impact:

Banks - margins may widen
NBFCs - borrowing gets costlier
Housing - EMIs get costlier
Autos - demand may cool
Realty - sales face pressure
FMCG - volumes stay soft
IT - little rate impact
Pharma - defensive, little change
Metals - capex may slow
Infra - project costs up
Oil and gas - input stress stays
Gold - haven bid can hold
Equities - near-term volatility
Bonds - yields may firm
Rupee - mild support only

A hike does not fix crude.
It does not reopen Hormuz.
It only raises the cost of money while oil is already high.

What’s your thoughts?

Do anyone understand when I say, sales is 230 Cr, and Mcap is only 32Cr?
And profit making Co?
Auro Impex?
It means, one can buy whole Auro Impex and power ltd Co for just 32 Cr!!
Tumko 230 Cr sales karti Co, sirf 32Cr main milti hai...
Mcap is the Value of the Co and that is why I look at Mcap always.

Why do I prefer trading stocks in the lower parts of their bases rather than chasing stocks already sitting at highs?

The peace of mind is completely different.

When you catch a good setup early, the potential move can be big and you often get multiple opportunities to add to a winning position as the trend develops.

Two of my current positions are already delivering 30%+, and at that point the trade becomes much easier to manage. You can reduce risk, trail aggressively, and let the remaining position work.

That's the beauty of finding a good setup before the crowd gets obvious confirmation.

This Reminds of my COVID Rally Days , I used to rely only on these buys .
