Yasin Malik’s men didn’t stop at raping the 27-year-old Kashmiri Hindu nurse Sarla Bhatt. They then murdered her, engraved the acronym ‘JKLF’ on her body, and mutilated it out of sheer contempt for her Hindu identity. After that, they issued multiple warnings to her family against cremating her remains according to Hindu rituals. The family still went ahead with the cremation, defying the threats. When they went to collect her cremated remains (asthi) later, a mob of around 200 Islamists descended upon the crematorium and stomped over them.

They didn’t stop even at that. They then bombed her family home with a grenade.

Do you really think all 200 of those monsters who showed up at the crematorium were foreign infiltrators, Pakistani terrorists, or JKLF members? These are the questions that make many Kashmiri Muslims very uncomfortable. The moment you raise these issues, especially when they present a narrative portraying their community as victims, they label you an Islamophobe or resort to similar accusations.

I have seen all kinds of Islamists, but the tribe in Kashmir is the craftiest. Many of them pretend to be atheists in private, yet their public behaviour and political leanings tell a completely different story. Very hard to take their words at face value.

Did you know?

During Partition in the year 1947, Muslim League mobs encircled the Golden temple of Sikhs in Amritsar. They were about to destroy the temple.
It was RSS Swayamsevaks of Amritsar who fought a pitched battle with the mobs. They saved the Sikh Golden temple from destruction on March 6 1947.

The Muslim League mobs marched towards Harmandir Sahib.

They raised slogans like "leke rahenge Pakistan" and "let us do what Abdali did"

But then, there was a surprise awaiting the jεhadi mobs.

They were encircled, fiercely attacked and repelled. Muslim League had to run for their lives.
The protectors were none other than RSS Swayamsevaks.

The jihadis were particularly terrified of one Swayamsevak called Bijli Pehelwan. RSS stationed hundreds of Swayamsevaks around the Harmandir Sahib shrine to protect it from desecration by Mμslim League mobs.

The Swayamsevaks guarded the shrine 24*7.

4 ASSAM REGT/35 RASHTRIYA RIFLES, single-handedly killed 3 terrorists in a fierce 24-hour encounter at 12,500 ft and laid down his life in Naugam, J&K #OnThisDay 27 May in 2016

On the night of 26 May 2016, Hav Dada, as Sabu Post Commander of 35 Rashtriya Rifles, while establishing a stop along with his Section at 12,500 feet, led a charge on hiding terrorists in Naugam, J&K resulting in the neutralisation of four heavily armed terrorists.

He along with his team spotted the movement of terrorists in the area and engaged them in a fierce encounter that went on for over 24 hours.

Hav Dada charged at the spot where terrorists were and killed two terrorists on the spot and later the third one after a hand-to-hand scuffle as they slid down the hill towards the Line of Control.

The #IndianBrave sustained a sudden burst of automatic fire from the hiding fourth terrorist, receiving a gunshot wound. He continued to pin down the fourth terrorist and later succumbed to his injuries before wounding the terrorist.

Hav Hangpan Dada’s action of eliminating three terrorists in an engagement at close quarters and injuring a fourth one, in disregard to his personal safety, foiled the infiltration bid and ensured the safety of his men.

He was honoured posthumously with the Ashok Chakra. His wife Smt Chasen Lowang Dada received the award on behalf of her Braveheart husband from then President Shri Pranab Mukherjee.
