Nesta foto está o momento exato em que encontrei o papai e a mamãe do Lucca, esta criança que estava vestida de freizinho durante a nossa peregrinação.
A esposa é brasileira, o marido é francês, e foi uma grande surpresa conhecer o pequeno Lucca. Ele nasceu na França, filho de pai francês e mãe brasileira, e foi muito bonito vê-lo vestido de frei. Confesso que nunca imaginei encontrar um “freizinho” francês!
Mas a história deles me tocou ainda mais. A mãe do Lucca acompanhava as nossas Quaresmas e os Rosários da madrugada, mesmo morando na França. Durante muito tempo, ela rezou pedindo a graça de ter um filho, pois enfrentava dificuldades e tinha receio de não conseguir engravidar por causa da endometriose.
E Deus, pela intercessão de Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe, concedeu essa graça. Hoje, o Lucca é um testemunho vivo dessa bênção.
Foi uma alegria muito grande encontrar essa família e conhecer de perto uma história que nasceu na oração. E eles tiveram também a graça de participar do Rosário conosco, quando pude apresentá-los ao vivo para todos vocês.
Deus seja louvado por tantos testemunhos que surgem através da oração. 🙏

My birthmom was raped. That is how I was conceived. She was young, not quite 16. Family demanded she abort me, and offered to pay. She said no.
During an ultrasound, doctors saw I would be special needs. I was diagnosed with hydrocephalus. The only thing that changed was she sought out a family who would want a special needs baby.
My parents were qualified and willing to raise a child with special needs.
Of course, when I was born there was no sign of hydrocephalus, but that's a story for another time.
Special needs babies deserve life. They deserve love, care, and life.
