Slight shade but someone I met irl who plays Umamusume was talking about how he thinks KHs is too cringe for him and I had to remind him he plays the anime horse girl game in public
а) я ебала держать эту крошечную 3дску, скрючив руку куриной лапкой (эмуляторы не интересуют при наличии консоли);
I’m both happy and surprised to see so many positive reactions to the game’s length.
Lately, I’ve had the impression that in Japan, more compact adventure games tend to be preferred, and a long playtime isn’t necessarily seen as a selling point. Even so, I love long-form stories, and perhaps foolishly, I continue to go against the trend. I want to create the defining work of my life.
Do players in the English-speaking world still enjoy lengthy games? I certainly hope so!
The thing about Kingdom Hearts is that if you didn't get on the train in the 00's, then you simply are left behind. It is too corny to work without the context of operating in a world of myspace-era truthisms, and its thrills can be found in other franchises with less homework.
