Subject - My YouTube channel is demonetized with a ₹5 lakh negative balance due to a Superchat scam, and it’s happening to other creators too.
I am writing to report a serious issue that is affecting multiple creators in India, including myself. Scammers are exploiting the Superchat feature by using stolen credit cards to send large amounts to YouTube streamers. On the surface, these appear to be genuine donations from enthusiastic viewers — often accompanied by friendly messages and active participation in chat — so creators have no reason to suspect anything.
In my case, a viewer began sending me large Superchat donations during my live streams, totaling several lakhs INR over time. They interacted in my chat under a regular username and acted like a legitimate supporter. I had no prior relationship or communication with them outside of YouTube, and I genuinely believed they were a real fan supporting my work.
Weeks later, I noticed my AdSense account suddenly showed a massive negative balance of around ₹5,00,000. Shortly after, I was notified that my channel was demonetized due to “invalid payment activity.” I later learned that the donations were funded with stolen cards. When the fraudulent transactions were reversed, YouTube charged the amount back to my account.
This has left me — and other affected creators — in a devastating position:
We lose our entire revenue.
We are left with huge negative balances we never earned in the first place.
Our monetization is removed, ending our ability to earn from future content.
I want to emphasize that I never had any agreement with the sender, and never knew they were fraudulent. I was simply a live streamer receiving what I thought was genuine viewer support. The scammer is the one committing the fraud — but the system is set up in a way that punishes creators instead of targeting the actual scammer.
I have recently learned that this same scam has happened to several other Indian creators, especially streamers. The pattern is identical: a scammer uses stolen payment methods to send big Superchats, gains attention in chat, and later the creator is hit with a negative balance and demonetization. I request that
@TeamYouTube@YouTubeIndia@YouTubeCreators@YTCreatorsIndia
Investigate such cases where creators can show clear evidence of having no involvement in the fraud. Reverse penalties for innocent creators and restore monetization. We love YouTube and are committed to building our channels here, but right now this loophole is destroying honest creators. Please review this issue and take urgent steps to ensure creators are not punished for crimes committed by others.

I urgently need a human Trust & Safety escalation. My channel (MAZE xD) has been falsely struck for "Sex and Nudity," my appeal was wrongly rejected, and my ability to live stream has been completely disabled over a massive automated bot error.
Here are the undisputed facts about the flagged Short ("Review an issue: Bike on bed 😭⁉️"): • Flagged Timestamp: 0:23 • The Context: A sarcastic comedy skit reviewing a "viewer's gaming setup." • The Visuals: A 2-second clip of a guy jokingly sitting on a toilet looking at his phone. • The Crucial Detail: THE PERSON IS FULLY CLOTHED. He is visibly wearing a blue t-shirt and grey track pants.
There is absolutely ZERO nudity. There is ZERO sexual content or intent.
Despite this, Live Chat Support was broken and gave me contradictory automated macros. I submitted a formal appeal through YouTube Studio, and it was just rejected. This means whoever (or whatever bot) processed the appeal didn't actually watch the 0:23 mark to see that the person is clearly wearing clothes.
Operating as a full-time streamer is my livelihood. Being locked out of broadcasting for an entire week over a completely false flag is a massive disruption to my business. I cannot accept a rejected appeal for a policy violation that physically does not exist in the video.
I am formally requesting that a Senior Trust & Safety employee manually review the 0:23 timestamp, look at the clothing, and overturn this false strike immediately so my streaming access is restored.

I am still waiting for help. Two days ago, your team replied to me, asking me to follow so you could DM me about a false channel strike. I followed immediately, but I was completely ghosted. I cannot DM you first due to X's privacy settings.
Here is the full timeline of this massive automated error on my channel (MAZE xD):
My Short ("Review an issue: Bike on bed 😭⁉️") was hit with a false "Sex and Nudity" strike at the 0:23 mark.
The 0:23 mark is a 2-second comedy skit of a guy sitting on a toilet. HE IS FULLY CLOTHED, clearly wearing a blue t-shirt and grey track pants. There is absolutely ZERO nudity or sexual content.
I submitted a formal appeal. It was rejected in a second, proving that no actual human watched the video to see the clothing.
@TeamYouTube replied here on X, told me to follow for a DM, and then never messaged me.
Because of this bot error, my channel is locked out of live streaming. I am a full-time creator, and this is actively hurting my business every single day I am left in the dark.
I have all the screenshots proving the person is fully dressed. Please SEND ME A DM right now so I can give you my Channel URL and get this escalated to a real human at Trust & Safety. 🙏

Hey @TeamYouTube, I just followed! My DMs are open.
I have my Channel URL, the video details, and the screenshot of the fully clothed 0:23 timestamp ready to send over.
Please send me a DM whenever you're ready so we can get this escalated to the internal team and my stream unlocked. Standing by!

Hi TeamYouTube, thank you for reaching out. I am following up on my false Community Guidelines strike for 'Sex and Nudity.'
Channel Name: MAZE xD Channel URL: [PASTE YOUR CHANNEL LINK HERE] Video Title: Review an issue: Bike on bed 😭⁉️ (Short) Flagged Timestamp: 0:23
The Issue: This strike is an automated bot error. At 0:23, a viewer jokingly submitted their bathroom as a 'gaming setup' for my sarcastic review series. The bot flagged this for Nudity, but if you look at the frame, the person is FULLY CLOTHED (wearing a blue t-shirt and grey track pants). There is no nudity or sexual content in this video.
My formal appeal was recently rejected, which I believe was another automated error because the clothing is clearly visible. As a full-time streamer and registered business, this false strike is preventing me from working.
Please manually review the 0:23 mark and restore my live streaming access. I have the original video and screenshots of the clothing available if you need further proof."

@TeamYouTube I understand the policy, but the deletion was a genuine accident on the mobile app, not an attempt to hide the video! This ban forces me to cancel a major event with non-refundable travel costs. Please, can a human review the metadata? This is devastating for a simple misclick.
I know the system says "deleted videos can't be appealed," but this was a genuine UI mistake/panic on the mobile app. I did not delete it to hide anything.
I am asking for a manual review of the video's metadata or backend logs.

Hello @YouTube,@YouTubeIndia@narendramodi
India, please help me. Someone put bots on my channel, causing my subscribers to jump from 3k to 10k in an instant. Please help remove those bots from my channel and review.

@TeamYouTube I'm concerned about my channel's reach. Just yesterday, while I was streaming, a watching bot suddenly boosted my view count from 40 to 200. This issue needs to be addressed; it's impacting my channel's reach, and my subscribers aren’t getting notifications for my live streams.
hello @YouTube@YTCreatorsIndia@YouTube
India, please help me.
So, whenever I stream on YouTube, my channel reaches 1,000 viewers out of nowhere because of some bots. My average viewership is 25-35, and this issue is affecting my YouTube reach. Please look into asap.
@TeamYouTube I understand, but I want to clarify that I haven't done anything like this on my channel. It has been done by someone else. I simply don't want any bots watching or likes. I know your system will take some time to validate, but it's affecting my channel's reach after every stream
@TeamYouTube See my latest live stream; likes are over 900, and my live stream views are around 400-500 only. How is that even possible? Only because of that bot.
