It was great to welcome Blair McDougall MP to M&S Newton Mearns today.

As the store marks two years since its £3.2 million transformation, Store Manager Martin Smith outlined how the investment has helped us better serve local customers.

Blair also had the opportunity to meet colleagues, including our bakery team and Michelle Smith, who is celebrating an amazing 40 years with M&S.

We are calling for tighter restrictions on fireworks following the death of Roxie, our endangered red panda kit, on bonfire night.

Our expert vet team believe it's likely that three-month-old Roxie died due to stress caused by fireworks in the local area.
