This may be able to be explained, or maybe there was more than 1 piece of junk?
I hope this helps you in working out what occurred. As it looked so diff to what people saw in Melbourne, I thought this info may be helpful.

I live in Port Fairy and saw this going over. It was visible on the northern side of my house, coming from west, heading east. Very bright and big, long like a plane, traveling quite slowly and on a steep downward trajectory.

It looked like a plane crashing, on track to ditch into the sea off East beach. May have been optical illusion. What I saw doesn't seem to fit with what others observed over Melb >280 kms away. Its course appeared different to what I’ve seen described.

I watched it travel from the northern to the eastern side of my house, then behind Norfolk Isle pines in the next block as it moved away. It wasn’t high in the sky as seen in photos/videos from Melb sightings – more looking across at it rather than up.
@JNampijinpa Shocked and extremely disappointed you would go on Sky and Peta Credlin, a platform and program which aims to push Murdoch's right wing divisive agenda and promotes vested interests causing harm and disadvantage to vulnerable communities.
@VoicesofWannon Wondered the same thing when I saw Dan’s survey. Serious problems with the design and questions which won’t provide him with any idea of what responders really think, and the issues they’re concerned about are priorities for them, for their communities, for Wannon and for Aust.
@BkRidAI@JoeLocalSoCal@TheProblem@jonstewart @AppleTVPlus Rate of gun deaths per 100,000 people (2019)
Don’t you advocates for guns find this in any way concerning, or are you so wedded to your entrenched view you’d rather keep your mind closed to any solution to reduce this tragedy?
@Mon4Kooyong I hope you succeed in getting Govt’s support & ongoing commitment so this imp issue won’t fall thro the cracks again.
My brave daughter tragically died from Lymphoma just shy of her 17th birthday.
Every effort shld be made to help save lives of those with this terrible disease.
@David_Ritter Probably the only way to get the attention of self-centred people who are purely focused on their own financial wealth.
What a pity we can’t have conversations and strategies focused on protecting and supporting nature for its own sake and intrinsic value.
@RachelDelahaye@bairdjulia One of my favourite books ever. I gave it to so many of my friends and family. Now that you’ve reminded me, I’m going to read it again...
Hey Lachlan: You have super yachts, many mansions and $riches beyond the wildest dreams of avarice. Why not now reform Fox/Sky/NewsCorp media with their business plans to monetise fear, climate denialism and white supremacy dog whistling? You’ve destroyed public TRUST. Enough!
We need all Australians to tell @MarkDreyfusKCMP @AlboMP @PeterDutton_MP that they want “exceptional circumstances” for public hearings to be dropped from National Anti Corruption Commission Bill. The NACC’s discretion must only be on public interest.
1/ I need to talk about something that makes me feel quite sickened. I'm working as a Support Coordinator for #NDIS participants. I love my job, I love that I know I'm helping and supporting people and I practice in a way that is as ethical as I can get - BUT - here's the catch:
We all remember how awful last summer was; the summer of Omicron.
If a new COVID variant emerges from this year’s northern winter-as experts say is likely-we don’t have the right plans in place to manage it.
That’s why I’ve called for a National Summit on COVID 19:
The unfathomable bit for me about protestors outside hospitals is that they think nurses and doctors - people who’ve dedicated their lives to helping people - are somehow part of a huge global movement to poison children and adults. It’s bloody astounding.
