@arcticnead @AerLingus Lots of companies operate that way. These pilots are extremely out of touch, look at the volume of tech layoffs this year to cut costs. I'm out of work since April. There's an ongoing war in Ukraine, this action is very selfish. Total lack of appreciation of the deal they have.

This is a disgrace. Cathal Crotty, a serving Irish soldier who beat a woman unconscious in a random street attack, and boasted about it afterwards on social media, has walked free from a court after getting a fully suspended sentence.

Re: #GAAGO debate. I teach in a school in the heart of a "hurling" area in Cork City.

Just one pupil in my class watched Cork v Tipp on livestream Saturday evening.

When I asked how many would have watched if it was on RTE, numbers rose to 10+.

Ease of accessibility is key.
