@iamwesmoore My family has owned our farm in Westminster for 7 generations. We just had to pay $120,000 transfer tax for the next generation, and then were slapped with a nearly $10,000 property tax bill. Make this insanity stop! We can barely afford to live here!
@iamwesmoore Start with yourself! I love Maryland, but it’s become so unaffordable! As a lecturer at UMD, I can tell you even our youth view you poorly. There’s still time to turn this around
@AKjelsberg@iamwesmoore I understand what you’re saying, but this is only looking at one part of the equation. There may have been a drop in crime, but Baltimore is still ranked the 4th most dangerous city in the US. There’s still more work to do.
@ItsMeDarrell@iamwesmoore Never once, in any post, did I ever suggest disrespecting President Biden by flipping him off. I did however relate sending $55b to Africa while a US debt default was looming to be akin to flipping off constituents during a time of financial crises. It was tone deaf.
@richabbs1@iamwesmoore Sure is me. Our country almost defaulted on our debt unless congress upped the ceiling at the time. You think sending $55b to Africa is what was best for our country?

@NanaOhCanada@iamwesmoore Two wrongs don’t make a right. I’m simply suggesting to drop the banter and collaborate / unite to combine resources and forces to make the city safer. We can all do better, together.
@catturd2 Starlink was a game changer for me in rural western Maryland. I was a high school teacher during the pandemic and 70% of our student population had no access to internet. Starlink changed all of that. It’s an award worthy innovation I feel like.
@surreykiwi@jk_rowling 1,026,000 abortions were performed in the US last year; there are 330,000,000 US citizens. So, this is a topic impacting less than 1% of the population. Harris made this a focal point of her campaign. Wasn’t there more important things to focus on?
@GovWesMoore Governor, I urge you to travel 695, 95, or 270 during rush hour and reconsider whether or not our state can handle additional housing prior to a transportation infrastructure reform. Our existing roads cannot handle existing traffic, let alone new traffic.
@GovWesMoore Governor, I’m having trouble reading this as anything other than anti small business. Fundamentally, I’m not opposed to this, but I am opposed to action that will directly impact small business owners across the state.
@POTUS Nothing like holding your middle finger up to your constituents on the way out the door, huh Joe? In a time such as this, this is incredibly distasteful.
@elonmusk I just want the option to opt out and I won’t ask for a dime upon retirement. Give me the freedom to manage my own retirement fund and control my own destiny.
