@nick_ally1986 For T1D, insulin isn’t a performance enhancer—it’s survival. Exercising with active insulin causes rapid crashes (hypos). Starting high to avoid it just blurs vision and kills focus. It’s a brutal balancing act, not an advantage. Speaking from experience!

@rolandgarros Living with type 1 diabetes since age 4 while competing at the highest level is impressive as hell. Managing blood sugar and energy through those grueling matches on any surface — and he never complains about it.
