Now we’ve just been told by the @SkySportsF1 commentator that Riccardo Patrese and Jarno Trulli were the only Italians to win the Monaco GP before Antonelli’s brilliant victory today. Err… Nuvolari? Varzi? Fagioli? Farina? Somehow they don’t count?
Great flight back from Sicily today, helped soften the blow of our holiday coming to an end. Wonderful crew working the Club cabin - so grateful for the unexpected upgrade @British_Airways. #creditwhereitsdue
This was from 2017-18ish- he wanted to run the double- we worked hard to help make it happen- we got close- even held #51 for him for years- if anyone could have won the double it was Kyle Busch- RIP KB 🙏
Chip Ganassi Racing and the whole racing community has lost more than a legend — the world has lost one of its most extraordinary human beings.
Alex Zanardi was the definition of resilience, courage, and grace. He was integral in shaping Chip Ganassi Racing into what it has become. From the highest levels of motorsport to his incredible achievements beyond it, he showed us all what it truly means to fight, to adapt, and to live with purpose. His strength inspired millions, but it was his humility, kindness, and unwavering positivity that made him unforgettable.
He didn’t just overcome adversity — he redefined what was possible.
Rest in peace, Alex. Your legacy will continue to push us forward, on and off the track.
@Motor_Sport@TheBishF1 I went exploring after the Long Beach GP and this park near the original site (along with those themed street names) is the only visible evidence the circuit was ever there.
It was a state-of-the-art circuit, drawing celebrities, concerts and an Evel Knievel record attempt - all under the Californian sun.
But, writes @TheBishF1 , the Ontario Motor Speedway hosted just one #F1 race before the bulldozers moved in

Excellent response by @Giles_Richards to Max Verstappen’s boorish behaviour. Verstappen should also be reminded of Eddie Irvine’s words: the only questions worth answering are the difficult ones. https://t.co/P66evgqd9g
There's a lot of commentary about how childish or unprofessional this is from Max. I see it more as a terrible strategy - it's highlighted a perfectly reasonable question yet again, one that clearly Max would rather bury and, presumably, want us not to be talking about.
😳 Verstappen refused to start his media session until The Guardian’s representative left.
It is a result of a clash months ago in the Abu Dhabi finale where Verstappen took issue with a question about regretting his crash with George Russell and subsequent penalty at the Spanish GP, in the context of missing out on the world championship by just two points.
Team social media accounts, I imagine mostly in the hands of 14 year olds, love joining together drivers names (so wholesome!) but this one is definitely the oddest effort by far. Arson or Livid might have been preferable.
@CardiffRugbyWeb If they go there needs to be a new top team and a proper process to develop a plan that’s based on merit, not trying to pull a fast one.
