@SnakeRanting @djpain1 Highlight everything and push "L"
Create an empty midi region. Copy the pattern you want to make ghost notes out of. Past it into the empty midi region. Then you should see "ghost notes just like you would with FL studio.
@djpain1 Hopefully when a ruling comes out it will be thrown out. Copyright is one thing. However, the system doesn't like monopolies. This would be a major music monopoly. The Copyright on something on the basis of rhythm would be a problem the courts themselves wouldn't want.
@ellipsi_music Music people and entrepreneurs will understand this feelijg its definitely not something most will inderstand. But the whole world doesn't have to.
@djpain1 Yep its the wild west on everything now. The person said "it isn't difficult to do it's only 3 pages. It's easy- until they have to spend their time on it. When I saw your "Producer's Ruined Rap Music" video I couldn't help but think of the similarities.
I have a person that wanted me to build a funnel for them. A full sales funnel. When I broke down the pricing they said "I don't think im going to make that much money so i'm not going to pay, just help me." I thought to myself instantly- "What would @djpain1 say? SMH
@djpain1 Giving up a product for something you're entitled to anyway? No thanks😂 People got it wrong. I think people just don't know how to move with their music. So they do whatever they can to try and limit their risk. Thus they try to push all the risk on someone else.
@djpain1@AltBlueprint I made a beat back when Kelly rowland released her motivation single. Called it the beat "Motivation 2" You know Atlantic Records claimed the beat on YouTube smh I can't imagine Google getting further involved.
@djpain1 I spent 16 years develop artists that ended up getting deals and leaving without so much as a thank you for your service. Since that the label has the means for producers and everything else and I was no longer needed that was the end of the musical relationship. No more of that.
@djpain1 I'm starting to wonder if people say this stuff because the barrier to entry is low. Like when producers called other beatmakers and producers "fake" producers for using fl studio and not getting the hardware and gear to make beats.
@KnockVMusic @djpain1 There are some producers that lease out beat(s) exclusively for a set period to one party and then get the rights back after a certain time period. Treating the beats like car rentals, which is great if you have enough material. It's just another option.
@djpain1 That definitely makes sense. I think when artists and producers alike understand the value of others and how the money is generated people will do better business and understand where and how to make their investments back without trying to take advantage of anyone.
