Our favorite moment in the men's event was discovering how good Tatsuya Tsuboi 🇯🇵 is. His knee bend is absolutely phenomenal. Mikhail Shaidorov 🇰🇿 made history for Kazhakstan and his free skate was a highlight for us.

After the decision to allow Valieva to compete, we have chosen not to comment on any ROC skaters during the women's event. While we agree they are victims of an incredibly toxic system and support them, we cannot comment on their skating without considering the bigger picture.

Obviously, any adult that is allowing their child to be subjected to Eteri & co + Dr. Shvetsky's abuse is awful. But the mom's testimony is just saddening to see. This sport will never progress or change if parents don't protect their own children. Sad.

The Dossier Center Report also gave us insight into how Kamila Valieva's mom has failed her. A child has been prescribed Hypoxen at the age of 15, on top of being drugged up by the adults who are supposed to protect her. And her mother's testimony uses KV's grandpa as a puppet.

The defense KV's team is going with is utterly comical. While a TMZ contamination has gotten athletes shorter punishments, this defense frames this in a laughable way; contamination through her grandpa's TMZ that he does not have a prescription for.
