1.) I might be old but the guy who caught the ball looks like a kid to me. He's there with his dad.
2.) If you catch a ball fair and square (not over the head of a child or snatching it out of someone else's loose grip) it's yours. Baseball is for everyone.
3.) The world doesn't always revolve around kids and using a child to play moral superiority games is manipulative and wrong.
Baseball has a lot of dumbass “unwritten rules” that unfortunately extends to the crowd watching the game.
