Data for development requires global synergy. Supported technically by @UNFPA and @FAO, Cameroon’s 4th General Census is setting benchmarks for international cooperation, ensuring data is credible, robust, and aligned with global standards.
How does a nation turn operational challenges into a strategic pivot? Under the prescriptions of PM @joDionNgute, Cameroon’s Census Technical Committee has unlocked a XAF 6B recovery package to supercharge the #GPHC/GALC unified census.
Chaired by #MINEPAT SG Jean Tchoffo, the committee validated bold operational reforms. Backed by a XAF 4.5B @WorldBank HISWACA grant & XAF 1.5B from the National Treasury, XAF 2.49B has already been injected to clear enumerator per-diems. Financial regularisation is a priority.
Data sovereignty is the foundation of national emergence. By overcoming initial bottlenecks, Cameroon is modernizing its statistical ecosystem to build the schools, hospitals, and agropastoral infrastructure of tomorrow. #Governance#DataForDevelopment
Modern governance requires digital speed. Cameroon is eliminating administrative red tape by transitioning to digital contracting. This ensures total traceability, streamlined operations, and prevents future payment delays for field staff. #StrategicPlanning#Cameroon

⚽ It’s officially the 2026 World Cup season!
